Apple is looking for a Product Manager to drive the development of core experiences across their Creative Apps team, including products like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Pages, Keynote, and more. The goal is to bring innovative features and tangible products to creators worldwide by infusing customer insights into the product development process.
Requirements
- Experience with consumer creative software products and technologies.
- Strong track record of leading product development cycles and partnering closely with engineering/technical teams from an in-bound marketing perspective.
- Deep understanding of creative process, software, and workflows across artistic disciplines including music and video creation, photo editing, and visual design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software engineering and product designers to define the strategy and roadmap for core experiences across Apple’s creative apps.
- Author product requirements and drive the development of new onboarding journeys, learning content, and distribution platforms.
- Research and synthesize technology trends, the creative apps landscape, and user feedback to identify new product and partnership opportunities.
- Negotiate and influence product trade-offs impacting schedule and usability to improve user experience and differentiation.
- Position our apps in the competitive landscape and craft compelling end-user messaging for the highest impact.
- Transform market and customer insights into inspiring narratives that engage internal teams and shape the product vision.
- Launch new features in conjunction with marketing communications, public relations and other product marketing teams.
Other
- 6+ years Product Management experience with at least one entire product development cycle from concept to introduction.
- BS/BA degree in marketing/business/engineering or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Best-in-class oral and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level.
- Ability to lead through influence, debate, and storytelling.
- Keen sense of cultural relevance, emerging trends, and consumer tastes in the creative industry.
- Passion for creative arts, including photography, film, music, literature and design.
- MS/MA/MBA preferred.
