Spring Venture Group is looking to drive the strategy, roadmap, and success of their data products to ensure they are robust, accessible, and maximize business value.
Requirements
- Experience with data products and analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Snowflake.
- Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
- Knowledge of API integration, data mapping and data warehousing concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
- Proficient in understanding a variety of Agile methodologies
- Agile certifications preferred, not required
Responsibilities
- Own the data product strategy: Deeply understand the data needs of the business and work with data architects and engineers to translate the vision and strategy into feasible data solutions.
- Enable BI & analytics: Translate complex or ambiguous business questions into clear, detailed, and prioritized data and reporting requirements for analytics teams.
- Define and maintain KPIs, track key product metrics, analyze user behavior, and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that outlines the key outcomes and features required to achieve the data product vision.
- Work with delivery teams to translate user needs and business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Own the relationship and integration of 3rd party tools related to assigned products.
- Communicate effectively with product, design, engineering, BI, and analytics stakeholders to ensure that data products are built, designed, and launched effectively through Agile development processes.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline; or relevant work experience
- 5+ years relevant work experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, specifically with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
