Guidewire's Data Platform team is responsible for building an integrated, scalable, secure, and robust data transformation and integration services, to help both our internal development teams and our customers leverage, transform, and enrich data easily to gain analytics driven insights. In this role, you will be responsible for the infrastructure and data flows enabling various data applications to integrate seamlessly with the data in the platform.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud native data transport, data store, data warehousing, and business intelligence technologies
- This role requires conceptual understanding and knowledge of micro services, distributed systems, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Big Data ecosystem
- Cloud native software delivery experience
- You should feel comfortable with data ingestion, cataloging, integration, and enrichment concepts and techniques and be able to understand how data relates to end user analytics requirements and applications
- Experience with Thoughspot, a plus
- Technical knowledge of big data and cloud technologies, services, tooling, and infrastructure preferred
- Experience working with B2B SaaS (multi-tenant software as a service) company is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead one or more engineering teams through the ideation, technical development, and launch of data integration infrastructure and our internal business intelligence solutions
- Drive feature level design sessions and product development with engineers, architects & UX
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
- Gather and define the requirements that will be used to research and innovate how data can be delivered, stored and integrated for downstream applications
- Be the expert who can help customers, QA, support, sales, and other groups with questions about our data flow, integration architecture, solution content, and products
- Manage dependencies across different teams and ensure features are delivered on time
- Triage, prioritize and respond to customer issues and escalations
