Agilent Technologies is seeking a Product Manager to lead the OpenLab ECM & future data platform suite of products to shape the future of enterprise content management solutions for the global scientific community.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data management or data platform solutions
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and integration strategies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and competitive analysis
- Proven ability to define product strategy and define commercialization plans
- Familiarity with PLC processes and cross-functional collaboration in R&D environments
- Experience with laboratory informatics or content management solutions (Preferred)
- Experience with managing data platforms deployed in Cloud environment
Responsibilities
- Lead the product strategy and entire product life cycle of existing and new suite of OpenLab data products
- Solicit input from marketing teams and conduct research (VOC, technical benchmarking) to identify new opportunities
- Analyze market trends and competitor positioning; reconcile findings with product management and segment marketing research
- Develop customer use cases and translate them into compelling value propositions
- Define product value proposition, positioning, business case, and roadmap with cross-functional input; validate and socialize with stakeholders
- Provide inputs to R&D on product specifications and requirements for approved projects (PLC process)
- Drive ramp-to-volume execution and secure regional forecast commitments
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in product management, marketing, or related roles in software or scientific solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Travel Required: 25% of the Time
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field (Preferred)
