Middesk is looking to build and lead its Developer & Ecosystem strategy, shaping how customers and partners interact with their APIs, integrations, and developer tools to improve business identity verification and customer onboarding.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with significant time spent on APIs, developer platforms, or integration products.
  • Proven success building developer-facing products and ecosystem integrations, ideally with external partners.
  • Strong technical fluency—able to work closely with engineers, read API designs, and dive into details when needed.
  • Hands-on operator—comfortable drafting PRDs, running partner pilots, and getting in the weeds to make sure integrations succeed.
  • Data-driven and impact-oriented—focused on adoption, engagement, monetization, and distribution metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Middesk’s APIs, SDKs, and ecosystem integrations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design to deliver intuitive developer experiences, from onboarding flows to documentation and tooling.
  • Establish developer and partner feedback loops—beta programs, partner sessions, and usage analytics—and fold insights into product decisions.
  • Define and track KPIs for ecosystem success (integration adoption, partner-sourced pipeline, developer engagement).
  • Roll up your sleeves to draft requirements, validate API designs, and ensure integrations land with quality.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging partner ecosystems to keep Middesk ahead.
  • Serve as the internal advocate for partners and developers, influencing priorities across the product portfolio.

Other

  • This is a founding role, and you will define what this function is, what it owns, and how it operates.
  • Strategic leadership experience—able to define a vision and build alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch.
  • Excellent communicator across technical and commercial audiences, with a track record of influencing partners and executives.
  • 2-3 days per week in our SF office. Candidates should be based within a commutable distance.
