Fund OS is looking to transform the infrastructure behind donor-advised funds (DAFs) by building a 0-1 platform that will power the next generation of philanthropic giving and replace outdated systems with scalable, secure, and intuitive software.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product leadership or equivalent experience working with complex SaaS platforms, fintech infrastructure, or enterprise-grade software systems.
- Proven track record of bringing 0?1 products to life—whether through platform architecture, internal tooling, or deep enterprise integrations (e.g., payments, trading, compliance).
- Hands-on experience deploying software in high-stakes, process-driven environments like banks, financial institutions, or regulated industries.
- Sharp ability to distill complex operational workflows into focused, high-impact product solutions that simplify without oversimplifying.
- Comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder ecosystems—balancing the needs of internal teams and enterprise clients across both front- and back-end systems.
- Demonstrated success owning backend-heavy, integration-rich products that still deliver a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision and execution for core platform capabilities—from backend architecture to intuitive admin tools that power operational scale, compliance, and client service excellence.
- Drive the design and delivery of critical features, including real-time API integrations, data sync with enterprise systems, and enhanced contribution and granting workflows (like DAF-to-DAF transfers).
- Establish foundational platform patterns and technical standards that will shape the product for years to come—setting the stage for long-term scalability and reuse across clients.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and implementation teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and enterprise-grade features.
- Navigate and align shared dependencies with other product lines (like our Private Label DAF infrastructure) to deliver a cohesive experience and unified backend architecture.
- Leverage user research, product analytics, and market signals to drive ongoing platform optimization and high-confidence prioritization.
- Translate insights into impactful product decisions.
Other
- Partner directly with enterprise clients, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, roadmap, and long-term vision.
- Build a deep understanding of the workflows, pain points, and goals of DAF sponsors and administrators.
- Lead strategic conversations through co-design sessions, client workshops, and stakeholder presentations to ensure alignment and momentum.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator—skilled at aligning diverse stakeholders and driving cross-functional momentum.
