Victaulic is looking to expand its business with new and revitalized fire protection products and lead cross-functional teams through the Product Development Process to drive growth and profitability for the future product roadmap/vision.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in the fire protection market is a plus.
- New Product Development – Creative, visionary, identify and problem solve.
- Financial Aptitude - Possesses strong business acumen and proficiency.
- Have strong Problem Solving and Analytic Thinking - Identifies current/potential barriers to meeting customer commitments and relentlessly pursues solutions.
- Uses analytic techniques to identify projects or initiatives to pursue.
- Change Facilitation and Initiative - Reacts to change as a positive challenge and translates it into opportunities.
- Conducts on-going critique of current practices and constantly seeks/implements new approaches to improve productivity and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development strategies that achieve targets of sales, profit, market share, competitive positioning as expected by BOD.
- Lead the efforts to identify opportunities for value added development opportunities and serve as a champion to bring them to market.
- Direct and oversee initiatives and projects to revitalize existing product lines as agreed upon with the Product Development team.
- Develop future product roadmaps.
- Identify problems in the marketplace that need solved.
- Coordinate all components of product development programs in conjunction with Project Management and Technology Management
- Drive the development of an Intellectual Property Strategy for new and existing products.

- This person will have global responsibility in developing product and market strategies for driving growth and profitability for the future product roadmap/vision with the business unit executive commercial strategies.
