Burger King is looking to shape the data foundation that powers its business decisions, digital experiences, and operational excellence by hiring a Product Manager I, Data Platforms.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a data engineer, data scientist, data analyst, or related role with strong exposure to data platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data pipeline concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to translate data into business insights.
- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, dbt) or workflow automation platforms.
- Familiarity with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data stack technologies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and analytics to maintain and improve Burger King’s data warehouse, pipelines, and reporting platforms.
- Translate priorities from Marketing, Digital, Operations, and Finance into clear technical requirements for data models, tables, and reporting products.
- Write and review SQL queries to validate data, monitor KPIs, and support testing of new pipelines and integrations.
- Work closely with analytics, engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment on priorities and deliver data products that drive measurable business value.
- Contribute to the data platform roadmap, balancing foundational improvements with new features to maximize ROI.
- Drive adoption of “single source of truth” metrics and tools across Burger King teams; track and communicate business impact of improvements.
- Develop product management skills (roadmap planning, stakeholder management, agile practices) while applying your strong technical foundation.
