REP is looking to solve the problem of bringing innovative, high-quality products to market by hiring a Product Manager II to lead product strategy, development, launch, and lifecycle management across multiple strength product lines, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and bridging the gap between technical feasibility and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to drive product strategy, execute complex projects, and influence decision-making across multiple functions.
  • Ownership of product management processes and initiatives, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that enhance REP's product development and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and customer insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to translate complex technical details into clear, impactful messaging for marketing, sales, and customer education.
  • Proven ability to challenge engineering teams and navigate technical feasibility discussions, advocating for the best possible product while balancing constraints and business goals.
  • Deep understanding of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing processes to optimize product development and launch execution.
  • Experience managing end-to-end product development from ideation to launch, with a track record of delivering successful product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap execution across multiple product categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Identify industry leading products, conduct in-depth market research, analyze customer feedback, and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Develop Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) that outline product specificationsrequirements, competitive benchmarking, cost analysis, packaging, and key features.
  • Clearly define "the why" behind each product and confidently communicate product value in a way that resonates with both internal teams and customers.
  • Bridge the gap between engineering and marketing by explaining technical product aspects in a way that is meaningful and useful for marketing asset creation.
  • Challenge and collaborate with the engineering team to push for innovative solutions while maintaining an understanding of feasibility.
  • Monitor post-launch product performance, drive improvements, and manage updates or end-of-life strategies.

  • This is an onsite role and does require you to be in the office 5 days a week.
  • All applicants will be required to submit a portfolio showcasing examples of their work for consideration.
  • Interest in fitness with a passion for strength and conditioning equipment.
  • You may be expected to work on your own projects while having up to 3 direct reports of varying Product Manager/Analyst roles.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. Masters preferred.
