Emerson is seeking a Product Manager II to drive company growth and profit goals by assessing market needs and developing product plans, specifications, economic analysis, and worldwide marketing strategies for assigned products.
Requirements
- 8+ years engineering experience in engineering sales, or marketing
- Require understanding in process control business, strong knowledge of marketplace, competitive product customers, and applications.
- The product manager will be required to develop and present the commercial, technical, and manufacturing aspects of major programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of key product parameters such as pricing, capabilities, and improvements throughout the product’s lifecycle.
- Track global sales, bookings, and profitability; recommend and implement corrective actions through regional functional teams.
- Conduct market research including segmentation, competitive share, and feature differentiation.
- Develop and distribute tools like application guides and competitive comparisons to support product marketing.
- Assist in new product planning, launch, and technical documentation; forecast manufacturing needs, analyze costs, and recommend sourcing strategies.
Other
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (ME,or ChE): Engineering background
- Position requires strong presentation, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Advanced Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Business preferred: Marketing / sales background used to evaluate market trends, industry projections, and conduct market analysis.
