Google Compute is a portfolio of infrastructure products and services, generating business growth annually. As the Product Manager, you will focus on the underlying software and hardware infrastructure critical to the operation of Compute VMs. You will build compute infrastructure at scale and exposure to emerging technologies and understand how to address the needs of internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, or other software infrastructure areas.
- Experience with key Enterprise workloads (e.g., MSSQL, SAP HANA).
- Knowledge of locally attached Storage systems (LSDD) and performance needs.
- Knowledge of different workload requirements (e.g., emerging and existing) and their demands on the underlying infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Drive, build, and scale new CPU based VMs to market under google compute engine.
- Work across hardware, software, research, and product teams towards product goals and roadmap.
- Understand the competitive dynamics and industry trends on where the innovation is happening for both workloads and hardware.
- Drive the roadmap for CPU and Memory technologies, guest OS support, network, storage, hypervisor, and offloads.
- Provide data-driven insights to prioritize engineering initiatives and support return on investment.

- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
