Western Union is looking to improve customer engagement and drive measurable business outcomes through a more effective notification system. The goal is to ensure notifications are relevant, timely, compliant, and protect customer trust while maximizing engagement and conversion.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in engagement, CRM, or Martech platforms.
- Deep understanding of multi-channel notification systems and customer messaging frameworks.
- Experience with personalization, experimentation, and consent management.
- Strong data-driven mindset; skilled in interpreting engagement metrics and running experiments.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Jira proficiency preferred).
- Experience integrating with Martech tools such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Iterable.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the vision and roadmap for notifications across push, SMS, email, and in-app.
- Drive execution of notification strategy end-to-end.
- Define principles for notification timing, targeting, personalization, and frequency control.
- Partner with Content Network, Loyalty, and Affiliate teams to align notifications within the broader engagement ecosystem.
- Work with engineering, data, and Martech to deliver enabling infrastructure (orchestration, segmentation, experimentation, consent management).
- Lead alignment across stakeholders on use cases, prioritization, and success metrics.
- Continuously measure impact and iterate to maximize engagement and conversion through notifications.
