NBCUniversal Advertising Products & Solutions (AP&S) is looking to solve the problem of empowering business customers with actionable insights that drive business performance and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Technical proficiency in SQL with demonstrated ability to independently write complex queries to develop reports and analyze large datasets.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, vLookup, SumIf, conditional logic, etc.
  • Ability to design and deliver mission-critical data products that enable smarter, faster decision-making across Ad Sales, Platform Monetization, Strategy, and Finance.
  • Experience with data integration and schema mapping
  • Experience with algorithm design for estimating available ad serving inventory
  • Ability to create and manage product documentation, including release notes, user guides, and process flows.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to identify business problems and translate them into product solutions.
  • Write SQL queries to answer urgent business questions and mine large datasets for novel insights.
  • Manage projects through the full product development lifecycle, from initial discovery and definition, through to testing, deployment, and post go-live support.
  • Track project risks, assumptions, and dependencies, and keep customers informed on changes to scope and schedule.
  • Advocate for customer needs with product and engineering partners, ensuring products and their features are clearly understood and documented.
  • Create and manage enterprise reports and dashboards and assist in the design of scalable, high-availability data pipelines.
  • Triage production issues, establish severity levels, and coordinate resolution with engineering teams.

Other

  • Bachelor's degree minimum, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in product management or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills: able to take apart a complex project and prioritize its constituent tasks, map dependencies, and identify risks.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office (increasing to 4 days per week in January 2026)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership audiences and tailor communication style as needed
