Evolution Motion Solutions is looking to drive sales growth by identifying and capturing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing accounts, and providing technical support to customers and supplier partners for their Safety, Sensor, and Vision product lines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in industrial automation, safety, sensor, or vision product sales, application engineering, or technical support.
  • Proven record of growing sales and developing new markets for technical/industrial products.
  • Experience working directly with engineers, integrators, and end users to specify and implement solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of machine safety, sensor technology, and/or machine vision applications.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Industrial application problem solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to the Industrial industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and sales support to customers, sales staff, and supplier partners.
  • Take product responsibility for assigned Safety, Sensor, and Vision lines within the branch.
  • Execute sales and product plans jointly developed with Sales and Product Management leadership.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with regional vendors and supplier partners.
  • Strategize and plan with the Sales Team; integrate product goals into every salesperson’s forecast.
  • Monitor projects and help move opportunities from specification to quotation to order.
  • Develop product and application targets for marketing initiatives and identify new markets.

Other

  • Work outside normal business hours is required.
  • TRAVEL IS REQUIRED, about 1,500 miles a month.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
