Snap Inc. is looking for a Product Manager, Sharing to improve how Snapchatters share and communicate on the platform, focusing on user experience enhancements, new sharing features, and maintaining high performance standards.
Requirements
- Proven ability to develop a technical product strategy and translate it into a prioritized, data-driven roadmap
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to grasp and discuss complex technical concepts and trade-offs with engineering and design teams
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and make informed decisions
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company
- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a platform, UX, or technical role
- Direct experience with communication technologies, APIs, and services
Responsibilities
- Craft delightful ways for Snapchatters to share and communicate on the platform, including sending Snaps, adding to Stories, and posting publicly to our community
- Improve sharing including user experience enhancements, layout improvements, new sections and section orders, updating shortcuts for quick access, etc.
- Conceive and build new lightweight sharing experiences integrated across the app, including partnering with internal teams to build and implement those experiences
- Be responsible for sharing performance and maintain high standards that strikes the right balance between new features and sharing speed

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
- work in an office 4+ days per week
