UBS is looking for a testing and quality assurance resource to contribute to test strategy activities, develop test scenarios/scripts, and execute testing across Wealth Management products, business functions, and platforms to ensure applications meet the highest quality standards and improve efficiency through test automation.
Requirements
- ideally at least 5 years of experience in large scale business and technical testing within financial services or equivalent in a consulting firm supporting financial services
- strong banking products knowledge particularly in the payment domain i.e., ACH, BillPay, Cards, Checks, Fed Wires, etc.
- test management experience using Waterfall / Agile / Scrum methodology
- knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, QTP and BDD frameworks to optimize testing and expedite time to market
- experience with large platform implementations requiring the execution of front to back test cases across multiple systems
Responsibilities
- contribute to test strategy activities to build robust test plans in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- partner with stakeholders to develop test scenarios / test scripts
- work with the product and technology to assess integration/functional testing readiness
- execute testing across Wealth Management products, business functions and platforms leveraging best practices
- identify and track defects utilizing industry and company standards
- provide input and documentation for to track progress and assist with the resolution of testing issues across the work streams
- support the optimization of manual testing processes by automating test cases, increasing the speed and accuracy of regression testing
