Requirements
- Working experience within business systems (Solar highly preferred)
- Consultative sales experience highly preferred
- Business planning and forecasting experience highly preferred
- Previous working experience with vendors
- Previous experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Experience working with electrical products
- Ability to use CRM tool to log and manage customer interactions
Responsibilities
- Create and execute business plan and strategy for designated product lines
- Conduct in-depth market research on products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests
- Produce competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors
- Design, manage, and deliver technical training to internal and external customers in support of product line
- Utilize the customer relationship manager (CRM) tool to log and manage customer opportunities, tasks, customer interactions, and support responses from customers in assigned region
- Provide pre-sales support to customers including review of customer project specifications and documents, preparing and presenting bills of materials, providing solutions based on customer needs
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships with vendors and manufacturers
Other
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business administration, and 1-3 years of related field experience
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel regularly through assigned territory. Some overnight travel is required
- Previous experience leading a direct team
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience working with electrical products in lieu of a degree
