Google is looking to revolutionize the YouTube Watch Page by simplifying ad formats, optimizing the page experience, and adapting ads to viewer context to build a flexible and integrated ad experience that sparks discoveries, balancing user experience with business generation growth. The Product Manager will own the strategy and execution for generating business for YouTube's Watch Page.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).
- 2 years of experience with data analysis or experiment analysis.
- 2 years of experience with Ads.
- 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product development lifecycle for new ad solutions and business generation strategies across the YouTube Watch Page, from initial ideation to global launch.
- Work across Engineering, UX, Data Science, and Sales to set a compelling product outlook and define a clear roadmap that balances user experience, creator business, and advertiser needs.
- Drive a culture of data-driven experimentation. Construct clear hypotheses for new ad formats and system improvements on the Watch Page, run A/B tests, and analyze results to pursue launch candidates that deliver value.
- Partner with core ads infrastructure teams (e.g., retrieval, ranking, auction, and quality) to evolve models and systems.
- Collaborate with go-to-market, measurement, and overall YouTube consumer product teams to ensure the successful launch, adoption, and performance of ad solutions on the Watch Page.

- 5 years of experience in product management.
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
- 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
