Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree with Junior standing at the time of application
Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation (including manufacturing instructions, routings, process specifications and tooling) as well as product testing requirements and methods
- Solving manufacturing problems, investigating process failures and implementing corrective actions
- Coordination with other departments to ensure the production viability of new designs, creation of the required documentation, and internal and customer approval of documentation
- Interface with production personnel including operators, quality inspectors, and shop floor supervisors
- Implementation of Lean methodologies including standard work, point of use tooling, material presentation and process improvements
- Development of layouts of manufacturing cell design including tooling, machinery and equipment
- Technical compliance and risk assessment
