IonQ is developing the world's most powerful full-stack quantum computer based on trapped-ion technology and is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help shape how the world sees, understands, and adopts quantum computing to solve complex and impactful problems.
Requirements
- 5 - 7+ years in product marketing, content marketing, or similar roles in a highly technical field (quantum, AI, cloud, HPC, etc.).
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging and content.
- Experience developing product marketing messaging frameworks
- An understanding of integrated marketing campaign strategies and the role of product marketing within them
- Experience owning content strategy and execution across multiple platforms and formats.
- Strong writing portfolio, with examples across blog, sales collateral, website, or executive content.
- Familiarity with inbound marketing, integrated campaigns, and funnel-oriented content creation.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve positioning and messaging for IonQ's products and solutions across key customer segments.
- Translate complex quantum concepts into clear, differentiated value propositions tailored to business and technical audiences.
- Support the development of product marketing frameworks, messaging architectures, and competitive narratives.
- Create and scale enablement tools and sales collateral for a growing go-to-market organization.
- Partner with sales, product, and comms to support launches, announcements, and major milestones.
- Support Account-Based Marketing and integrated campaigns with product-focused content and messaging.
- Produce and manage content across the funnel from awareness and thought leadership to conversion and sales enablement.
