ENS Labs is looking to shape the narrative and go-to-market strategy for ENSv2, the most significant upgrade in ENS history, which involves a complete upgrade to their protocol and user experience, introducing Namechain, updated registry contracts, and two new applications: ENS App and ENS Explorer.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and translate deeply technical concepts (e.g., resolvers, zkEVMs, chain history) into clear, actionable messaging for both non-technical and technical audiences.
- Familiarity with L2s, zkEVMs or blockchain data indexing.
- Experience with protocol migrations, registry upgrades or ecosystem-wide launches.
- Familiarity with tools like Linear, Figma or analytics platforms is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize positioning for two distinct audiences: ENS App (end users) and ENS Explorer (developers/power users).
- Shape go-to-market strategy, developing and executing coordinated GTM plans tailored to each audience’s pain points and motivations.
- Drive the migration journey, owning the end-to-end user migration experience and creating educational resources, activation flows and post-migration engagement strategies.
- Tell the ENSv2 story by writing clear, compelling content, from consumer-friendly migration guides to deep-dive technical walkthroughs.
- Act as a strategic partner by gathering developer and user feedback, synthesizing market insights and collaborating with the product team on roadmap priorities, pricing and packaging.
- Establish success metrics and iterate by defining separate success metrics for user migration to Namechain and adoption of ENS App features.
- Partner across the ecosystem by working with wallets, dApps and infrastructure teams to ensure ENSv2 and Namechain support at launch.
