SmartBear is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to support their Zephyr and QTM4J product family, which are widely adopted test management solutions for Jira. The role aims to build compelling narratives, drive product adoption, empower partners, lead feature launches, refine product positioning, and create content that highlights the differentiated value of SmartBear solutions in enabling faster, higher-quality software delivery, especially in the context of AI-powered test automation with SmartBear HaloAI.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and software testing practices, and ability to translate these concepts for both technical and business audiences
- Proven ability to develop positioning, messaging, and GTM strategies for enterprise software products
- Experience driving cross-functional marketing programs from concept to launch
- Experience marketing Atlassian ecosystem apps, developer tools, or software testing solutions
- Background in software development, QA/testing, or related technical fields
- Competitive analysis skills with experience positioning against similar tools in crowded markets
- Track record of successful SaaS or marketplace-based product launches
Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional go-to-market plans for Zephyr and QTM4J feature releases and product initiatives
- Define product and feature messaging that resonates with QA engineers, testing team leaders and technical decision-makers
- Equip sales and channel teams with effective messaging, battlecards, and competitive positioning to win in the Atlassian ecosystem
- Create technical and business-oriented marketing content that demonstrates ROI and best practices in Jira-native test management and automation
- Define and track success metrics that show product adoption and customer value realization
- Develop compelling customer case studies and use cases across industries and team sizes
- Monitor competitors in the Atlassian Marketplace and shape differentiation strategies
