Land Pride Construction Equipment (CE) is looking to solve the problem of effectively marketing and introducing new products to the market, specifically the Kubota-branded line of attachments, by hiring a Product Marketing Manager to link Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams.
Requirements
- Knowledge of all Kubota Power Units – especially Tractors, SVLs/SSLs and Mini Excavators
- Knowledge of attachments and implements and their uses
- Above average computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Responsibilities
- Participate in overall product strategy, research, and development requirements and coordination between Kubota and Land Pride for new and emerging products.
- Product Comparisons with focus on feature/benefit and competitive price comparisons.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, identify competitive landscape, and define the product’s target audience.
- Help develop and execute go-to-market plans, including messaging and content creation, to introduce new or updated products to the market.
- Analyze available data to measure success of product launches and identify areas for improvement via post-launch reviews with the Sales and Marketing teams
- Manage day-to-day progress of new product introductions, working closely with engineering, marketing, purchasing, and controller.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, and operations to develop and provide product data responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
Other
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and presentation skills are required
- Must be a self-starter with outstanding leadership qualities
- Overnight and weekend travel will be required for shows, training, and Kubota events – approximately 25% of time is travel
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
