Kreg Tool is looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to develop and execute marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market dynamics, to achieve sustained business growth.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading marketing initiatives, driving cross-functional collaboration, and delivering measurable results.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to collect Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Experience with creating scalable marketing processes and systems to streamline execution.
- Foundational knowledge of attribution techniques and data analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities through market and competitive research.
- Experience with high-impact product launches in global or highly competitive markets.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping and lifecycle marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develops high-level go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, tactical launch plans, and strategic asset creation.
- Contributes to the creation of comprehensive marketing and sales enablement collateral, including white papers, case studies, digital campaigns, and training modules, to support organizational goals.
- Develops and champions an annual product marketing plan aligned with business priorities, serving as the primary point of accountability for implementation and optimization.
- Supports strategic marketing innovation, helping to identify emerging market trends and creative approaches to engage target audiences effectively.
- Ensures high-level brand alignment, overseeing the consistent application of brand voice, design standards, and messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
- Collaborate with creative and digital teams to script, storyboard and produce compelling video, social and educational content
- Serve as an on-camera subject matter expert in product demonstration videos, promotional campaigns and training modules.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism/communications or related degree
- 2-4 years’ experience in marketing or related field with an emphasis on consumer durable goods preferred
- Good leadership presence, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Woodworking and DIY expertise preferred.
