Progress is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to help drive go-to-market retention and expansion execution for DataDirect and Corticon, two cornerstone solutions in the Progress ADP portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data integration and intelligent automation, supporting campaigns, messaging, and content that demonstrate how these products accelerate business innovation.

Requirements

  • Foundational product marketing experience
  • Strong curiosity about data, APIs, and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with data connectivity (ODBC/JDBC/APIs), analytics, or business rules automation.
  • Experience collaborating with technical product managers or developer audiences.
  • Demonstrable AI skills in the development of content creation and sales aids.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of GTM plans for DataDirect and Corticon, including launches, campaigns, and enablement.
  • Assist in crafting compelling product messaging and competitive positioning for technical and business audiences.
  • Collaborate with demand generation, digital, and partner teams to create content that drives awareness and lead conversion (blogs, web copy, videos, presentations).
  • Help manage and update sales enablement tools, battlecards, and solution briefs.
  • Research and summarize market and competitive insights in data connectivity, decision automation, and AI/ML use cases.

Other

  • Hybrid role working between your home office and either our Burlington MA headquarters or our Raleigh NC office. You must be local to one of those locations to be considered.
  • 2-4 years of product marketing or related marketing experience, ideally within enterprise software, SaaS, or data integration platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for simplifying technical concepts.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn from senior product marketers and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and interest in data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or a related field.
