AAA Washington is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and sales for key travel products and programs.
Requirements
- Familiarity with marketing performance metrics and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proficiency in event planning, logistics coordination, and post-even evaluation.
- Ability to plan strategically and execute on tactics.
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience working with vendor partners in a co-op or promotional capacity
- Experience with digital travel programs
Responsibilities
- Serves as the internal product owner and lead marketer for products such as Hertz, International Driving Permits, and other digital travel programs.
- Drives multichannel campaigns (paid, earned, owned) to promote these products and meet revenue and member engagement goals.
- Tracks KPIs and performance across campaigns, and adjusts tactics as needed.
- Ensures Travel Advisors and internal teams are equipped with timely product information, sales tools, and messaging.
- Owns the strategy, planning, and execution of AAA Washington’s consumer-facing travel events with support of cross-functional teams.
- Coordinates event logistics, promotion, vendor participation, and post-event reporting.
- Acts as a connector between departments, keeping Marketing, Sales, Creative, Membership, and vendor partners aligned.
Other
- 3+ years’ experience in product management, marketing, brand partnerships, or product marketing
- 2+ years’ experience working with vendor partners
- 2+ years’ experience leading and executing consumer-facing events, including planning, logistics, promotion, and post-event follow-up.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in related field
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
