Streamlining and automating OpenAI's Applied AI organization's operations and information channels to enable collaboration at scale and bring advanced AI solutions to market.

Requirements

  • Experience with OpenAI LLM APIs (text generation, structured outputs, function calling)
  • Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript (for automation scripts).
  • No-Code/Low-Code Platforms: e.g. Airtable, Zapier, Retool.
  • Data Analysis & Visualization Tools: Experience with data languages/tools like SQL, Google Sheets automations, Databricks.
  • Can understand technical aspects of Large Language Model architectures and training pipelines in order to guide model training campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and optimize the end-to-end API product launch framework, ensuring cross-functional alignment and efficient execution from planning to post-launch support.
  • Lead coordination for high-impact projects (e.g., Dev Days), managing timelines, resources, and communications to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop systems to capture, synthesize, and relay API product feedback, translating insights into actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams.
  • Foster strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Support to align goals, streamline communication, and support business priorities.
  • Implement goals- and metrics-driven processes, continuously refining team operations to support product growth, complexity, and enterprise customer needs.
  • Assist in building and scaling the Product Operations function at OpenAI, helping to shape strategy, culture, and operational excellence.
  • Can build systems/tools (via code / no-code / AI) to facilitate internal processes with a great user experience for those who need to use them.
