Requirements
- Proficiency in using product management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience in a technology or software development environment
- Agile Certifications
- Grasp of agile frameworks, specifically: Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners and Product Managers to develop and refine backlogs, and User Stories
- Strong facilitation skills and client-facing presence, both in-person and remote
- Experience using remote facilitation tools to coordinate planning and workshops
Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals
- Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the product roadmap and strategic goals
- Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Foster a collaborative and agile environment, promoting continuous improvement and innovation
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future development
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges
- Apply critical thinking to make informed decisions that balance short-term needs with long-term objectives
Other
- Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of experience in IT
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Functional Consultant or similar role in product management
- Active Top Secret federal security clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI and polygraphs to communicate real-time status
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and willing to obtain polygraph clearance
- Experience working in a collaborative and caring community
