Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Product Owner to lead a team dedicated to delivering custom, data-intensive products that transform work processes and create a competitive advantage
Requirements
- Experience with Neo4j Graph Data Platform and familiarity with querying languages such as Cypher and SQL
- Knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and serverless frameworks
- Understanding of mark-to-market accounting concepts or experience supporting accounting teams
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms and cloud technologies
- Proven experience working on custom-developed products, particularly those with a strong focus on data-intensive solutions
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to achieve high-quality product outcomes
- Proven ability to create tailored solutions that achieve desired outcomes while addressing customer needs
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, aligned with the organization's data strategies and business goals
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of the product, track its performance, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Conduct hands-on work gathering requirements, creating feature and data files, and overseeing development, testing, and production releases
- Build a deep understanding of data flows and their significance within our business processes
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders
- Effectively lead a cross-functional team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes
- Mentor and support product analysts to deliver competitive results
