Hitachi Digital Services is looking to solve the business and technical problem of defining, developing, and delivering an Energy Data Insights product that leverages data-driven solutions to empower energy stakeholders and drive energy efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with the OSDU platform and understanding of its architecture and data services.
- Strong understanding of data platforms, AWS cloud technologies and analytics tools.
- Experience with energy data standards (e.g., Green Button, OpenADR).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Background in data visualization, machine learning, or predictive analytics.
- Curious about Generative AI and its application to upstream business processes.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Energy Data Insights.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager to align technical execution with product goals.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact.
- Engage with stakeholders across energy, data science, and engineering to gather feedback and validate product direction.
- Ensure seamless integration with the OSDU platform and compliance with its standards.
- Monitor product performance, usage metrics, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

- 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, preferably in the energy or data analytics domain.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver complex products.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Must have experience in a leading oil and gas company or ISVs driving similar product experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Energy Systems, or related field.
