Technatomy is looking for a Product Owner to serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Agile delivery teams to ensure CX Insights and VEMSIS initiatives deliver high-value, data-driven solutions that improve Veteran experiences.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile product ownership, product management, or business analysis.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles, user-centered design, backlog management, and incremental product delivery.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams on cloud-based platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with data analytics, AI/ML, or data lake architectures.
- Skilled in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent Agile management platforms.
- Exposure to data quality management, Power BI visualization, and AI/ML product lifecycle support.
- Understanding of Section 508 compliance, Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, and Agile release governance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of accountability for product backlog development, refinement, and prioritization in collaboration with VEO stakeholders and Agile teams.
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria and definition of done.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and PI Planning sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, DevOps, AI/ML, and QA) to ensure technical deliverables meet user-centered design, data quality, and compliance standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to define and track product KPIs, ensuring alignment with Veteran impact metrics and organizational goals.
- Support continuous improvement through backlog inspection, release planning, sprint retrospectives, and data-driven decision-making.
- Review, approve, and validate deliverables including requirements packages, solution architecture packages, and sprint plans.
