Mindex's Software Development division is seeking a Product Owner/Business Analyst to direct the analysis, development, and testing resources for agile teams, ensuring clear solution requirements and effective product delivery for enterprise organizations.
Requirements
- Two+ years of Product Ownership experience
- Preferred knowledge in any of the following areas: basic data analysis, public speaking, agile methodologies, software delivery life cycle (SDLC)
- Demonstrates the ability to use graphical representation to augment textual requirements such as diagrams, models, workflow diagrams, and story maps.
Responsibilities
- Creates shared understanding of solution requirements through user flows, acceptance criteria, and other agile artifacts.
- Responsible for the definition of work in the Product backlog and for the prioritization of that work for their assigned team(s).
- Collaborates with the Product Manager to help formulate strategies to maximize revenue/retention and minimize risk for the clients of their assigned products.
- Develops a deep understanding of the body of work, partners with the team and project stakeholders to elaborate clear solution requirements.
- Partners with the Product Manager to translate high-level project deliverables into actionable product plans.
- Facilitates PI planning projects alongside the Scrum Master to ensure scope and delivery plans align.
- Facilitates refinement of requirements via elaboration and grooming sessions to ensure scrum team alignment for functional and non-functional requirements.
Other
- BS degree in Business, Communications, or related area preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience within the Financial / Human Resource industry is a plus
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs.
