The Department of Labor and Employment needs to ensure a well-designed, reliable, and accurate claims management system for time-off and claim benefit payments for the FAMLI program to achieve its mission and provide financial security to participants.
Requirements
- Six (6) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position such as data analytics, data visualization tools, SQL Query.
- Tableau Desktop experience
- Snowflake familiarity
- Familiarity with SQL
- Data visualization experience
Responsibilities
- Serves as subject matter expert on FAMLI benefits and claims systems, including applicable policies and rules, operations areas and processes, and industry standards and customer expectations.
- Manages analytics requirements and backlogs.
- Primary responsibility is to serve as product owner and maintain, groom, and prioritize backlogs for assigned value streams; responsible for final outcomes.
- Act as primary ‘voice of the data’ for the claims and premiums management systems.
- Analyze considerable amounts of data from various internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams; develop consensus during sprints and sprint cycles.
- Act as point of contact with development teams and assume ownership for solutions and communicating critical information related to these issues.
