Sherwin-Williams is looking to fill a Product Owner role to develop and execute the product vision and roadmap, ensuring successful delivery of a high-quality product that meets customer needs and business goals. The role aims to improve customer experience and drive innovation by defining and prioritizing product features.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in technology product management with experience in launching and managing successful products
- Moderate understanding of product development and launch processes, including agile methodologies
- Knowledge of production innovation methodologies and leading practices
- Strong ability to think strategically, design requirements in alignment with the business vision, and apply market trends
- Experience with hardware or software product development
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and customer-centric design thinking
- Knowledge of business processes, including IT, vendor management, and software development lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Gather market insights, identify customer needs, and collaboratively prioritize product features to develop and execute the product vision and roadmap
- Analyze customer feedback and market data, helping to identify and prioritize high-impact features that reflects the appropriate balance of business value and customer needs
- Assist in articulating feature requirements and acceptance criteria, and act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders to address any questions or concerns regarding the requirements
- Perform preliminary analysis of feedback from users and stakeholders and contribute to the prioritization of improvements for the product backlog
- Monitor the development progress, proactively identifying potential risks or bottlenecks, and collaborate with other product owners and the development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Draft knowledge documentation in support of the product
- Strive to proactively stay up-to-date with market trends, technology advancements, and industry-leading practices in product management and ownership

- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or relevant fields, or in lieu of a degree, at least 3 years of experience in the field of technology product management.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business language
