GDIT plays a leading role in managing and modernizing data warehouse infrastructure for The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). We architect, implement, modernize, and provide operations support for a large data repository in the cloud. The desired candidate will be results oriented and able to manage requirements to maintain both an on-premise and Cloud data warehouse at Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
Requirements
- 8+ years of Business Analyst and/or Product Management experience
- Experience in soliciting and defining business and system requirements
- Experience with the Agile framework
- Experience with AWS Cloud computing
- Ability to query databases using SQL and/or similar querying languages
- Experience with Integrated Data Repository (IDR) project
Responsibilities
- Solicit, define, and manage requirements and scope for CMS projects.
- Collect and perform analysis on information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system with moderate supervision.
- Gather & disseminate project information on a regular basis, documenting team agreements, sprint plans, release plans, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with the test team to ensure that the requirements are implemented and tested as they are written.
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the expected standards.
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as requirements change.
- Experience with databases and data warehouses
Other
- BA/BS in a Computer Science or related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
- Requires ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years
- Good customer service and communication skills, to include presenting to all levels of leadership; Must have good problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in a CMS environment with Medicare/Medicaid claims and associated data
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
