Compass Group North America is seeking a Product Owner to support Foodbuy, their procurement subsidiary, by establishing a collaborative partnership with key stakeholders and working on an agile team to deliver high-quality business solutions.
Requirements
- Experience working in a SAFe / Agile / Scrum environment
- Formal training or certification as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or project/product management
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with SQL
- Background in foodservice and/or menu management tools
Responsibilities
- Owning and prioritizing an agile team backlog
- Leading user story refinement sessions, collaborating with an agile team to break down and understand the business outcomes needed.
- Creating and owning User Stories and approving the final product.
- Collaboration with product manager and/or stakeholders to translate business requirements and needs into technical requirements the agile team can consume.
- Leading product development demos.
- Forming strong working relationships with stakeholders and other cross functional leaders.
- Performing to Scaled Agile standards.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Product Ownership / Project Management role supporting application development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people.
