Defense-Aerospace is looking to solve the problem of developing and delivering high-quality embedded software products, and is seeking a Product Owner (SAFe) - Embedded Software Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams and define product requirements and priorities.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a Product Owner role, preferably with embedded software.
- Strong understanding of SAFe principles and practices.
- Proficiency in C, C++ and C-Sharp.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Experience with embedded systems and software development.
- Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- SAFe certification or relevant training.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and priorities.
- Create and manage the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
- Participate in SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the product.
- Monitor progress and adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality software.

- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable tasks.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
- Requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
