Defense-Aerospace client needs a Product Owner (SAFe) for Embedded Software Engineering to define product requirements, manage the product backlog, and ensure smooth project execution for delivering high-quality software.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C, C++ and C-Sharp.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with embedded systems and software development.
- Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Domain experience in RF and GPS and Navigation system development, implementation and integrations efforts.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
- Participate in SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress and adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality software.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable tasks.
Other
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
- 2-3 years of experience in a Product Owner role, preferably with embedded software.
- Strong understanding of SAFe principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering successful software products.
