Zions Bancorporation is seeking an experienced Product Owner to support the Wire Transfer workstream team, focusing on customer-centric solutions and driving business outcomes in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Requirements
- 4-8+ years’ Experience as a Product Owner contributing to successful value delivery & agile methodology experience
- Significant knowledge of the agile frameworks & scaling models
- Product Owner certification strongly preferred, CBAP certification a plus
- Experience with JIRA, Azure Dev Ops (ADO), Confluence, or similar tools preferred
- Knowledge of design-thinking, lean startup approach, MVP, rapid prototyping, frequent feedback cycles, customer centricity
- Experience with product development and delivery in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with agile principles and practices
Responsibilities
- Take lead of scrum teams, defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, communicating with stakeholders throughout the project
- Create, own, and manage the team backlog, constantly collaborating with customers and the team to ensure work items are refined and prioritized
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by the development teams
- Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
- Provide context for, prioritizing and accepting the work demoed by the agile team, specifically ensuring the right value is delivered
- Collaborate with the team for demos and team retrospectives
Other
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, computer science or a related field
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including coaching and mentorship qualities
- Excellent decision making, problem resolution, listening and team building skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and adapt to changing priorities
