Responsibilities
- Participates in the annual strategic planning process by working with product owners and other stakeholders in identifying strategic initiatives, performing scenario planning, engaging with stakeholders to obtain feedback and communicate results, and creating and maintaining a roadmap of all identified work efforts.
- Manages the initiative request intake process, including partnering with requestors to complete intake forms; reviewing and communicating requests with impacted stakeholders; and managing requests through the approval, prioritization and scheduling process through necessary committees.
- Analyzes and identifies product and portfolio trends, providing consistent, accurate, and integrated views of data to support effective and timely identification of portfolio risks and status to support decision making.
- Manages the product, initiative and portfolio status reporting process, ensuring adherence to procedures and completion of the final report.
- Assists with defining and implementing procedures and templates, with an eye toward continuous improvement.
- Provides governance oversight to product teams, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Manages the process for identification and generation of key metrics to integrate into portfolio reporting, including recurring monthly and ad-hoc analysis.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 7+ years' experience in product or portfolio management.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as well as interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a culture of teamwork, collaboration and accountability.
