John Deere is looking to solve the problem of mainstreaming Precision Ag solutions and supporting precision farming products and services within the B2B Sales Department
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of electrical and wireless communication systems
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Certified Crop Advisor certification or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of John Deere Precision Ag solutions
- Experience with precision farming products and services
- Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs
- Familiarity with new technology products in the precision ag space
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the execution of the dealership’s John Deere Precision Ag strategy within the B2B Sales Department
- Develops and executes the plan to ensure ongoing Precision Ag mainstreaming across the B2B Sales Department
- Manages SNP’s Product and Precision Ag Specialist team
- Coordinates with external technical specialists for precision ag products
- Ensures understanding of John Deere Precision Ag solutions in sales and service departments
- Develops and implements the adoption strategy of new technology and product offerings in the precision ag space
- Works with the CAPS team to develop and deliver employee and customer training for John Deere Precision Ag solutions and advanced precision farming products
Other
- 1+ years experience in an agriculture-related role
- Dealership sales, service, training, or other related work experience preferred
- Associates degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization or equivalent experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel to store locations and customers
