The pricing analyst is responsible for determining the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.
Requirements
- Sound skills in MS Office packages Word and PowerPoint; Strong MS Excel.
- Advancing systems skills (Pricing Software, Excel, Access, SAP, Tableau Server)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for price management of specific direct or indirect accounts including daily RFQ and annual price/agreement review;
- Monitor agreement performance and work with Sales/PM team to drive the performance improvement;
- Identify & drive for solutions for low margin business;
- Identify and investigate transactional pricing leakage;
- Harvesting data from additional sources;
- Understand and use Tableau and other software to manage data;
- Applying market/supply chain insights and rules into pricing decisions;
Other
- 4+ years of experience in pricing or equivalent type role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team and execute initiatives
- Ability to perform in an operational environment with clear deadlines and challenging targets with a high level of flexibility and execute on priorities, result driven
- Exceptional strategic thinking and data oriented
- English language skill is a must
