The company is looking to ensure quality excellence across all plant programs and supply chains, and to drive continuous improvement in product and process reliability.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • SAP/ERP knowledge preferred
  • Working knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP-PPAP, FMEA, MSA, 8D, Statistics, GD&T and mechanical manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update Quality documentation, including Control Plans, FMEAs, and other key documents
  • Implement APQP and PPAP processes to ensure smooth product launches while meeting customer and regulatory quality requirements
  • Oversee and manage change requests and related quality initiatives, ensuring that all changes are implemented effectively while maintaining product and process integrity and meeting quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in product and process reliability, leveraging data analysis, best practices, and feedback loops to identify opportunities for enhancement and ensure consistent performance
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements, through regular evaluations, inspections, and adherence to applicable industry and organizational quality frameworks
  • Lead customer complaint resolution using 8D methodology, ensuring root cause identification and sustainable corrective actions
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues, ensuring that root causes are effectively addressed, and long-term improvements are sustained

Other

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality functions within the automotive industry or related areas
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, OEMs, or employees of organization
  • Occasional travel, up to 10% including international
