Requirements
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
- SAP/ERP knowledge preferred
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP-PPAP, FMEA, MSA, 8D, Statistics, GD&T and mechanical manufacturing processes
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update Quality documentation, including Control Plans, FMEAs, and other key documents
- Implement APQP and PPAP processes to ensure smooth product launches while meeting customer and regulatory quality requirements
- Oversee and manage change requests and related quality initiatives, ensuring that all changes are implemented effectively while maintaining product and process integrity and meeting quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement in product and process reliability, leveraging data analysis, best practices, and feedback loops to identify opportunities for enhancement and ensure consistent performance
- Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements, through regular evaluations, inspections, and adherence to applicable industry and organizational quality frameworks
- Lead customer complaint resolution using 8D methodology, ensuring root cause identification and sustainable corrective actions
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues, ensuring that root causes are effectively addressed, and long-term improvements are sustained
Other
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality functions within the automotive industry or related areas
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, OEMs, or employees of organization
- Occasional travel, up to 10% including international
