Batesville is seeking a Product Quality Associate to assess and restore damaged product to its factory original condition, ensuring the highest quality of their offerings in the death care industry.
Requirements
- Knowledge of metal and wood repair representing top quality
- Know how to organize work area to maximize productivity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to train/manage/lead/understand LEAN or CI activities and initiatives
- 2 years related experience and/or training; and experience with an emphasis in auto body/wood repair field.
Responsibilities
- Repair metal and wood caskets to the original best quality
- Keep work area clean and always organized
- Work with and report to RDC Manager to keep inventory flow controlled
- Have sense of urgency regarding first in first out
- Other duties may be assigned

- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexible start time available if preferred, as early as 5:00 or 6:00 AM)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong safety background while looking for continued areas of improvement
- The employee may occasionally be required to crouch, or lift items as heavy as 50 lbs.
