Supporting the commercialization and manufacture of products for the global electronics business by partnering with local and global design teams to ensure design for quality.
Requirements
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis, sampling plans, statistical process control and capability studies.
- Experience with direct customer interaction in a high-tech industry (electronics, semiconductor, medical, automotive, aerospace, etc.).
- Experience working on a global cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Leading, executing and coaching on product design reviews, FMEAs, test method development, raw material specifications, customer complaint investigations for the purpose of error proofing processes and driving to zero defect.
- Identifying, planning, recommending, and completing quality programs involving innovative applications and extensions of existing and new technologies of major importance to division business.
- Managing and driving supplier management activities in support of new and existing products. Manages outsourced manufacturers throughout the global supply chain.
- Collaborating with laboratory and global manufacturing teams to assure uniform and consistent metrology through Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Round Robin correlation studies, and use of Internal Reference Materials (IRMs) as appropriate. Assisting in the development of improved test methods, as needed.
