The company is looking to maintain and improve product quality standards across production, incoming goods inspection, and outgoing quality control.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO13485, Lean Principles, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D methodology)
  • Hands-on, electro-mechanical aptitude and deep understanding of production processes (light electro-mechanical assembly in a one piece flow/MTO manufacturing environment)
  • Six sigma certified (ideally black belt) with proven track record in implementation of six sigma projects in product quality related environments
  • Understanding of the core principles and actively driven Kaizen projects, with clear success stories over the years
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues professionally and effectively

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a team of quality inspectors
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures
  • Oversee incoming material inspections and in-process quality
  • Monitor production processes to ensure product quality standards are maintained
  • Supervise outgoing quality inspections to guarantee that shipped products meet all customer and regulatory requirements
  • Proactively identify quality risks, lead root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Establish data-driven reporting systems to support predictive and preventive quality initiatives

  • Minimum 10 years of direct responsibility in leading product and production quality control in an industrial environment, including direct personnel responsibility
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
