The company is looking to solve the problem of repairing and supporting industry-leading outdoor power equipment, including portable generators, to ensure reliable performance for customers.
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Solid computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and root cause analysis a plus.
- Experience in outdoor power equipment repair, preferred.
- Proficient in using repair tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to use technical manuals and documentation for repair and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Repair and service outdoor power equipment, including portable generators, according to established guidelines.
- Partner with Customer Service and Quality teams to diagnose and resolve product issues.
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
- Assist the Service Technician Lead in developing repair procedures, training materials, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance to identify and address root cause quality concerns.
- Support training and onboarding of new Product Recovery team members.
- Perform administrative tasks and continuously review processes for improvement.
Other
- Graduate certificate from a certified engine repair or engine technology program, preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience repairing engines or similar mechanical equipment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
