Bestway USA needs a Product Safety & Compliance Coordinator to support the Global Compliance team by interpreting regulatory requirements, evaluating compliance risks, and ensuring the company's alignment to product safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and compliance tracking tools
  • At least 2-3 years related product safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, or legal experience required
  • Manufacturing or retail compliance experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Interpret evolving compliance requirements and facilitate their implementation with internal teams and retail partners, including monitoring relevant federal and state regulatory changes (e.g., state energy efficiency requirements) and conducting periodic audits to ensure ongoing alignment
  • Exercise independent judgement in evaluating incoming compliance data from third-party partners; determine appropriate follow-up actions or escalation
  • Manage and maintain compliance documentation and databases, including product incident data; analyze post-market performance to identify and evaluate potential safety or quality concerns
  • Lead collaboration between the Global Compliance and Customer Service teams to address consumer inquiries related to regulatory requirements, product permitting documentation, etc.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance compliance processes and operational efficiency
