Bosch is seeking a Product Safety Compliance Manager to ensure their products meet all safety standards and regulatory requirements, minimizing risks and maintaining their commitment to quality and consumer safety.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations
- Proficiency in safety regulations and standards applicable to our product lines
- Strong knowledge of product testing methodologies and quality control processes
- Experience with compliance management software and data analysis tools
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Professional certifications in product safety (e.g., CPSC, OSHA)
- 5+ years of experience in product safety or compliance management
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain product safety compliance programs across all product lines
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety evaluations for new and existing products
- Stay up-to-date with evolving safety regulations and standards, ensuring our products remain compliant
- Manage product testing processes and analyze test results to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Develop and maintain documentation for safety compliance, including test reports and certifications
- Conduct periodic audits of manufacturing facilities and suppliers to ensure adherence to safety standards
- Investigate product safety incidents and implement preventive measures
Other
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions
- Train staff on product safety requirements and best practices
- Represent the company in industry forums and regulatory meetings related to product safety
