Assured Guaranty is seeking to hire a Product Software Developer to join their Secondary Market team to build back-ends for advanced products powered by data, AI or advanced analytics that will scale their Secondary Market business operations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in either Python, Java, C, Node.js, etc.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and database integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, or maintain scalable business products
- Develop robust server-side logic and services using languages such as Python, Java, C, or Node.js.
- Integrate with databases and manage data flows between front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver products that meet business needs.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote best practices.
- Debug issues, fix defects, and optimize application performance.
- Work with IT partners to ensure application security, reliability, and scalability.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (if recent graduate).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and present assignments concisely and accurately.
